Viva Mare Beach Hotel by Santa Marina

Great place

Pros: The rooms very very comfortable , staff was friendly and the parking was very convenient.

Cons: A but far from the main part of town , but otherwise great.

Great location close to the old town. The room was clean and comfortable. Perfect for a short stay.

Pros: Good access to the swimming pools and the tennis courts.

Smart upmarket hotel

Pros: Smart newish hotel. Excellent buffet breakfast. Lovely large swimming pool and jacuzzi, all kept very clean. You can also use the other pools on the Santa Marina complex. Good restaurant beside the pool. We had no problems with parking, the hotel has some places in the adjacent public paid car park for guests use in addition to spaces on the hotel grounds. We went in September so free supplied parking was no issue, this may be more difficult in the high season. The rooms are spacious with balconies.

Cons: An observation rather than didn't like. You need a car as the hotel is quite a walk from Sozopol itself.

Very nice facility, but could up their game in the breakfast zone and should really take care of the smell in the toilet

Pros: The rooms were very nice, big and clean and well maintained. The pool was also very nice.

Cons: The breakfast was at a 7 on a scale of 1-10. The toilets of the restaurant were not clean. I had to take my son in the room because of the smell which was unbereable.

Nice beachy break… but doesn’t come cheap

Pros: Vast property with all amenities expected for this type of resort hotel. Nice rooms, nice pools, acceptable beaches

Cons: I found it quite expensive for the experience, esp. by Bulgarian standards. But I chose it so my bad. Besides that, my biggest peeve was the restaurant Pizza Casa Mia which had a charming setting but which was a joke in terms of service (the last person to be served was 45 min after the first person has finished), food (the portions were laughably small), stingy (refused to give us bread with the meal… that we were willing to pay for), etc. Felt like they were milking the customers. But besides this, had an agreeable stay

Pros: Ideal location , short distance from Sozopol. Comfortable rooms , good facilities and beach with bar across the road

Wonderful place for pool or beach holiday

Pros: The food was amazing - the staff at every meal were friendly and efficient and very patient as our way if eating a meal is slightly different but they managed to understand us with humour. The facilties were clean and well maintained - wonderful choice of pools, outside gym and tennis. We went to celebrate a family wedding at the hotel and on the beach - highly recommend functions there! Danced till 2am absolute magic!

Very nice escape

Pros: - Location - Comfortable room - Breakfast & dinner - Bed - Hotel/complex amenities

Cons: - Dirty beach (in the front of the hotel) - Loud noise from the nearby building site

Nice place, but not worth the money

Pros: The design of the room was pretty nice. A lot of automation which I liked. Automatic curtains, you could order from your phone from the restaurant or the beach and then pay by card. Cool experience

Cons: The breakfast could be improved. I tried several times eggs, or eggs with bacon. They weren’t cooked well. The tomatoes were not the best quality. On the other hand the restaurant of the hotel downstairs is amazing. So maybe try to level up the breakfast so that it will be as good

We’ve had a great time and are looking forward to visiting again in the future.

Pros: The food is very good and there is a good variety every day, location is very convenient, the room and facilities are clean and well maintained.

Cons: Staff was friendly and polite but could use a bit more training, i.e. receptionist didn’t know any details about events, we had to ask the waiters to clean the tables at the restaurant, etc.
