Perfect Place for Us!
Pros: Lovely Hotel with amazing Staff! Great breakfast! Nice Pool Area, Super Clean! Great Location with good access to both halves of Sozopol! Old town is a short walk (albeit hilly) best option we found was to walk all the way round the coast to the old town!

Lovely family-run hotel
Pros: Lovely staff, especially Calina. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable room. Powerful, hot shower. The pool area is clean and has plenty of sunbeds for use. Very quiet location.
Cons: Nothing really. It is worth mentionong though that the hotel is situated a little distance away from the main attractions (15min walk) and is up a hill, which might be difficult for some.

We’d stay there again!
Pros: Lovely comfortable room with a balcony and sea view with a huge comfortable bed. Breakfast food was varied and was served at tables overlooking the pool. The staff were the best; from waiting up until 2am to book us in to offering to bring medicines for me when I felt unwell. The lock on my suitcase was damaged at the airport and the manager was able to remove it using bolt cutters. The reception staff spoke good English and were happy to book taxis and recommend good restaurants. The pool was lovely and we were often able to have it to ourselves as other guests went straight to the beach. I was so intrigued by the huge plaster fish on the wall that I sent a picture to my art teacher. They were so impressive.
Cons: There were only 4 hangers in the wardrobe but luckily I’d brought my own. Although there was a kettle and fridge there were no mugs only water glasses so as a tea drinker I had to buy some. Actually I’m sure if I’d asked they would have found me some. The bathroom was immaculate and brand new but could do with a shelf above the basin.

Great value, great location, great hotel!
Pros: The pool was great, especially as the sea was too rough to swim. The room was cleaned daily, was airy and modern and the bed was comfortable. Big thank you to Kalina on reception for being so pleasant and helpful.
Cons: The fridge in the room kept freezing all items.

Pros: The staff was really friendly and polite. The lady that cleans came in the room a few times while we were gone to leave us some fresh towels, make our bed and empty the ashtray on the balcony. We got a room on the 5th floor with a view to the sea and streets (number 502). The pool had some broken tiles on the bottom but other than that it was clean. Worth it for the price and location, I would highly recommend!

Good value for the money you pay.
Pros: The room and the view was really nice but it could be even better. The breakfast was surprisingly good and there was a waitress who brought us the food and the coffee
Cons: The walls are thin and u could hear everyone. If someone is in front of the door u could hear them as if they are in the room. During the night the air conditioner and the fridge were a bit louder. There were some stains on the bed sheets

Great place
Pros: Rooms are kept clean and offer all the amenities you can expect. The staff are always smiling, very friendly and helpful, which just makes your stay even better. The pool is nice to have, near it there's a terrace with tables to relax or do some work.
Cons: Parking near the hotel is a challenge, but so is everywhere else in Sozopol. Luckily paid car parks are not far.

Sozopol in the summeris worth a visit. Ema Hotel is located not to far away from the old part of town, easy walk. Quiet
Pros: Location, easy access, very friendly receptionists, helpful and smiling. Take the breakfast, even if it’s a choice of a few items. Satiating even if quite banal: toast with ham, pancakes with jam and a piece of white cheese, or scrambled eggs with an assortment of vegetables (tomato and cucumber particles). Good coffee, water. Fruit (delicious peaches) as an additional snack.
Cons: After completion of renovation of the bathroom someone forgot the touch-up (missing edge strips in way of door frame, so the tiles and mortar remain visible). Not the big deal, but spoils the overall good impression.
