Best value for money, excellent location and great staff for 2 star hotel

Pros: Usually you get what you pay for and can’t expect a lot from a 2 star hotel but we was nicely surprised how well maintained and clear is the hotel! We booked the apartment with a balcony, it has a great view of the Cathedral and part of the centre. Perfect location if you need to be in the top centre of Varna, but still in a quiet location so good sleep is guaranteed. 24 hours reception is other great thing, all of the stuff were extremely helpful and kind. Mattress was very comfortable and our room was cleaned every day. Overall great experience, we’ll go back again! Thank you, Hotel Art

Excellent value for money in the centre of Varna

Pros: Excellent location right on the edge of the pedestrian zone with many restaurants and bars. Staff were very friendly and polite. The room, bathroom and bedding was very clean. Well equipped and comfortable room with good bathroom. Excellent value for money.

Cons: The hotel was great, although no fridge or kettle but that did not change our opinion.

Pros: Good hotel for the requested money. Friendly personnel, good location, useful bad, not loud at night.

Pros: Right in city centre. Good value for money. Really nice decorated room. Looks really nice.

Cons: No elevator. No good sound isolation. Even though you close the door and lock it there is a small gap. You can hear the people talking in the corridor.

A cozy place to stay at the city centre.

Pros: The location is perfect, close to many bus stops, just around the corner from the city centre. The staff is extremely polite and it was really clean.

Cons: It was a bit annoying that the hot water takes time to get to the third floor, but there was hot water, you just need to run the sink for a bit for it to start. Also, keep in mind that there is no elevator, if that is a problem for you. For me personally, it was a non-issue.

Very good price for the value.

Pros: I liked the location of the hotel. It is in the center of Varna, close to the beach, to sea garden and to the main pedestrian street.

Cons: The room was renovated and clean. The staff is kind and advised me for good restaurants.

Pros: Amazing spot! Historical building, renovated with taste. Right in the heart of the city, within walking distance from everything worth seeing! Friendly staff. Will come back again!

Decent, but some improvement needed

Pros: The studio had two rooms and was renovated. Great location downtown. Beds were good, and it was clean. Air condition worked. The first receptionist was friendly and helped us parking sending sms from her phone.

Cons: The hotel does not have parking lots. A asked about parking in advance, but they answered that they would guide us at arrival. When we came we found out it is in a blue zone, so sms parking is only possible from a Bulgarian mobile operator or an App with wallet solution. We parked later at a supervised parking nearby for 6 euro for 24 hours. The hotel does not have an elevator, so we were lucky to be in the 2nd floor, one stair up. When we came home at 11.10 pm, the new receptionist asked us to pay. When I suggested paying by card, she asked me if I could go out and withdraw cash. I said that in such case I could pay the next morning, because I intended to go to bed, not search for cah machines (to help them to hide incomes from the tax authorities), She then accepted card payment, so it was unnecessary to ask me for cash, The bathroom was smelling sewage through the drain, so it should be improved.
